I’ve been holding snuff writing a review of this television, waiting and hoping that Panasonic would address the fluctuating brightness issue…they have and the results are superb: fluctuating brightness is a thing of the past. I bought the posed back in May knowing it could get the issue…mine turned out to be a mild case, one that rarely reared its head, only yet a nit to option on my brand new set.
I read completely almost the troubles on high def junkies, a forum devoted to abode theatre enthusiast. I watched the floor develop over the months equally Panasonic learned it received a problem to form out and made a resolution that worked. (The ribbon is good reading, and thank god a Panasonic engineer is an active member, otherwise this may not experience been fixed as rapidly or eve at all.)
In my case, (There are two different solutions.) a third party tech. swapped the A-board on my set. Brought most ten moments all told. I was machinated for a before and subsequently comparison…I had a panorama from a Battlestar Galactica episode cued up because it illustrated the fluctuations. With the new A-board, the fluctuations vanished. I received the make done early last week and get scoured Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT30 movies known to stimulate FB’s and experience found dead none. Good line Panasonic. (I understand the fix is straightaway incorporated at the factory on newer build dates…mine received an April build date. If you get7 an older model, just shout the Concierge service and they’ll accept tending of you.)
As for the set, I’m altogether pleased. It has a killer movie quality, cryptic dismal blacks, excellent fine detail, lag loose gaming, nice move handling, properly online apps with an included tuner dongle and a superior construct quality to crown it off…absolutely first rate.
