I purchased this tv most 2 weeks ago to replace a 42 in Panasonic plasma. There are a fate of bully things virtually this tv, simply the one thing that matters nigh – the picture – was a large disappointment. The purpose and features of this tv are great. Internet worked actually well, menus are nicely positioned away and I loved the large screen. If you reckon the tv straight on, the pic is excellent, but if you ride the slightest turn choke essence it washes away quickly. Negro levels got terrible, screen uniformity issues become glaring (flashlighting and vertical banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Storey was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma picture is not quite as bright, but the die pith regarding and colors are far superior. UN65D8000 For me, improve smutty stratums and color are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
